We at Al Ramsa Institute teach Emirati Arabic to people coming to UAE from across the world.
With this practice we experience so many enthustice students who would go that extra mile to achieve something great. And so with this article we would like the share a few stories of our students who did learn Emirati Arabic without paying a single penny from their pockets.
Meet Rebecca, one of our quickest learners. From the time she moved to the Middle east, she has been extremely enthusiastic about learning Emirati Arabic. As she was a single working girl here, her expenses were quite a lot and in her proposed salary learning emirati arabic really wasn’t an option. But did she give up? No.
Rebecca presistentali kept on emailing the HR of her company about how important was it to learn Emirati Arabic if working in UAE. Everyday Sunday to Thursday at 9am her HR would receive an email. To be honest she did this for a 3 months when she finally got an email back to prepare a presentation on why should the company send its employe for Emirati Arabic classes. Her presentation was marvellous and applauded by the all the Head of Departments.
Rebecca’s effort lead to her entire team of 35 individuals to an all paid Emirati Arabic course with our institute. Her enthusiasm not only benefited her but also her entire team, and for that they will be ever grateful
Meet Asma, an indian nationality married to an Emirati Local. There was always love between Asma and her husband, but life became a little complicated after Asma was introduced to her husband’s extended family and friend circle. Asma did not quite fancy their company as they were all comfortable speaking in Emirati arabic, a language she did not know of at all. Her husband noticed a change in her personality, Asma started to become very quiet and depressed. That’s when her Husband decided to gift her a special present on their 1st anniversary that she would cherish forever. He gifted her an all paid course at Al Ramsa Institute. Believe us, Asma has a flooded circle of Emirati friends and is happier than she ever was. What we love about her story is that her better half understood the importance of gifting. They don’t always have to be material things, they can be experiences one can cherish forever.
Meet Matthew, a very bright engineer working for the Dubai government. Matthew knew it was his hard work that got him this job, but even then he was always feeling out of place in the company. As all of his colleagues were Emirati, Mathew really had a difficult time getting to understand them. He wouldn’t get the jokes or even the basic conversations. Things became worst when Matthew would go to meet his clients and in middle of the conversation they would change from English to Arabic.
That was the turning point when Matthew realised how much learning Emirati Arabic would benefit him. He spoke to the HR and they were extremely pleased to see how enthusiastic he was about learning the Emirati Arabic. The company paid for all of Matthews classes and may we tell you that was a great investment. Matthew has been the second highest in sales last year. Mathews determination not only benefited him but also his company.
